Volunteer Opportunities to assist FDDF

FDDF often has opportunities for you to volunteer to assist us with our mission. Some opportunities are annual events and some are one-time special needs. You can contact the office if you wish to be placed on a list of volunteers, that we will call as needed. 

You can also indicate that you have an interest in volunteering for a certain type of activity or event.

Some of the opportunities for you to volunteer for, are as follows:

Serving on one of our standing or special committees (with approval by the committee chair)

Music on Chicago – four summertime music/street dance events – various tasks

Planting Downtown flower beds

Watering Downtown flower beds

Fall cleanup of Downtown flower beds

Assisting with serving food when we vend food at a local event

Selling raffle tickets at several downtown events

Gathering information for our property and historic databases
