We sponsor regular events and special activities to bring residents and tourists into downtown Freeport. 

You’ve probably heard of (and hopefully participated in) events such as Music on Chicago or Chili Friday.  These are examples of events sponsored by FDDF, under the direction of our Promotions Committee, chaired by Marg Blum. 

We often hear, “I’d not been downtown for quite a while but went down to an event and was pleasantly surprised at the improvements made, cleanliness, and the variety of new stores.” – which is what the events are designed to do.
